A community supporting Northside Richmond's dog park at Pine Camp

March 21st 2011 Update

Hi Everyone,

Last week, I met Larry Miller, our Parks Dept sponsor, and walked the outline of the park. We marked the corners, the division for the small dog / puppy area, and marked where the gates need to to. The fencing contractor has been selected...it's the same group that did the Chimborazo Dog Park fencing.

Feel free to drive out Forest Lawn Drive to check out the site, you can see where it is on map on our home page.

Thanks for the update Jonathan. Any idea when the fencing is going to be installed? We are so excited that this is moving forward!

I don't know, but I'll be out there at least once a week to check, and I'll get the word out ASAP.

As of today, the Parks Dept. is waiting for the ground to dry before completing the fencing work. They hope it will be wrapped up this week. Let's cross our fingers.
