Gonna be nice! As I am sure as everyone else...I am most anxious to get it up and running w/ canine friends!

thanks for the offer. At this point I would say: hold that thought. If our Parks Dept partners get the OK relatively soon, we should be good to go and can move forward. I would like to organize another meeting of our supporters beforehand, though, to talk about these issues and make sure most folks are OK with the new location. In the end, though we may not have much of a choice.

The new location is not ideal, but I feel it has potential. Some of our supporters are unhappy with it, though. What to do, what to do. It's a sticky wicket.

So, let's give it a few more days to grind through city hall, OK? Then we can figure out our next moves.

Hi Richard - Would communication with the Parks people (phone calls, letters, emails, visits) from dog park supporters help or hinder our cause? Having some experience with squeaky wheels getting greased, I would be more than happy to do what I can to nudge the powers that be to develop the same urgency we have. If it might help, please let me know who to contact and what approach you think would be most effective. Thanks!

We'll try our best. We've been on hold since August when the dog park project became a bit of a political issue at city hall. So, there hasn't been much news to report as we waited. We are still waiting for the go ahead from the Parks people.

That said, I will try to post something weekly even if there has been no movement on his project.

Nice to see things are finally moving forward. Is there any way communication on the continued status of things can be sent out or posted more often? It's been very difficult to get responses to emails or find updates on this site or the Facebook one. Those of us who are ready, willing and able to help would appreciate more frequent updates and posted info in order to plan our weekends to help. Especially with the holidays approaching.

Thanks for the video...enjoyed seeing where my dogs will be romping soon. Can't wait. Will work for off-leash playground. Let's get it started!
